I thought that $50 for Phase Plant might be Black Friday boxed version clearance or something but $99 for the whole bundle seems like it's probably a pricing error. Whereas Current's rent to own plan would let me pay $120 now and then buy perpetual license for $19 and I'd also be able to edit all the effects-but only inside the synth. To edit the presets I liked from that video I'd need to also at least buy Faturator and Slice EQ, which I might be able to eventually get on 50% off sale (they're not on sale right now, not even at Guitar Center) for about 30+40 = 70 more = $120 total, possibly Disperser and Carve EQ too for another 70 = 190 total, or $210 total with Convolver too. Phase Plant and Current both have oversampling for FM cross-modulation as well as samples (though no multisamples or round robins apparently), and most of the presets for both of them (currently) seem to be EDM and the mutating spawn of dubstep (I actually like a fair amount of dubstep and related genres, but not most of the Phase Plant or Current presets). Phase Plant seems most similar to Current, though Current supposedly has better MPE implementation (but not as good as Equator2 or Cypher2). Oh well, if they cancel it I'm not all that into it anyway. I bought Phase Plant from Guitar Center about 2 and a half hours ago and still haven't received the license.
